ITS HERE 🚗

Our new used 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan arrived this afternoon!

This Is long post but very much worth the read

—————————————————————————

We were able to purchase this van solely because of the money we raised at our golf tournament!

This was no easy task and we are going to walk you through the process to help everyone who follows us understand what it takes for us to get a van and why it is imperative for us to raise more money at our tournaments!

First and foremost, there are not enough ways to say thank you to Tom and Cindy for helping us FIND the van! Tom and Cindy have gone out of their way for the past month looking at multiple different vans all over the county! Tom is what we call an “expert” with his mechanic background and was trusted to help us find the best possible van for our crew!

The van we got ended up being one and half hours away from Windsor and Tom and Cindy did the drive MULTIPLE times to look at the van, test drive it and go pick it up for us!

Tom also helped us get the van safetied and repaired so it was ready for the road!

Now, let’s do a quick breakdown of what it cost for us to get this van.

The golf tournament raised $7437.48

The van: $4000.00
Tax: $580
Used vehicle information package: $20
Safety & Repairs: $1324.21
Insurance for the remainder of our term: $236.06
New insurance cost: $2675.92
Gas reimbursement for Tom & Cindy: $150

For a grand total of: $8,987.13

We share this in hopes that everyone can see the money we raise is ALWAYS being used to directly benefit our program and our members. That’s why we NEED people to continue donating and supporting our fundraisers — so we can keep doing what we do and give back to THE MOST deserving people, because they truly deserve everything good in this world ❤️

Our 3rd year of Summer Group started today!!

A few of our summer group members are on vacation so we integrated the summer boys with our adult day program for a swim day!

This year we are welcoming back Moe for his final year in summer group! In September he will be officially transitioning into our adult day program!

We have a handsome new face joining summer group this year named Tommy! We are so excited to have him join in on all the fun this summer!

We can’t wait to introduce you to our other summer group members soon!
